Nalanda is the first Residential International University of the World. It is one of the best known universities of its time. Nalanda easily accommodate 2,000 Teachers and 10,000 Students.
Nalanda was established in 5th century BC by the Gupta Emperors and the whole university complex was destroyed by Bakhtiar Khilji, a Turkish Invader In 12th century AD. |
